This is a wonderful read along with Walter Isaacson's book. They should appeal to anyone hoping to bring some of that Apple magic to their own company, career, or creative endeavor. And everything is just recycled. This book is also written in the least engaging way. If you have read Steve jobs book then there is nothing new here.

You won't be disappointed. Apple eschews typical industry practices such as the principal of general management, transparency, or the use of focus groups the lack of which, Lashinsky claims, sends the message: Customer Reviews See All.
This author seems to have the least access into apple. In a cover story for the magazine entitled The Genius Behind Steve: This is a wonderful read along with Walter Isaacson's book.
This book is also written in the least engaging way. And everything is just recycled. The company still works in mysterious ways however the book offers some really good snapshots of the inside. In a conversational style that pulls no punches, Lashinsky outlines salient factors that concurrently contribute to Apple's success and deviate from standard business practice.

After reading both I feel like I might have one foot inside the door of Apple in Lashinsjy. Most hard core fans and followers know most of this.
